The Cepsa butane cylinder requires a fixed and certified installation. It is sufficient to connect the regulator to the valve and connect it to the appliance by means of an approved hose.
Follow these steps:
Place the bottle vertically, in a ventilated area and away from heat (>50 °C).
2. Check the components: compatible regulator, hose in date (expiry date visible) and clamps in good condition.
3. Place the regulator on the Cepsa butane bottle until you hear the secure fit.
4. Connect the hose to the appliance and tighten the clamps without forcing.
After each use, close the valve and periodically check regulator and hose. See all safety instructions here
Propane is a versatile energy obtained from oil refining and natural gas. It is stored as a liquid in a propane gas cylinder or tank and, when used, is converted to gas, which is how it delivers its high calorific value for heating, hot water and cooking.
It works very well outdoors and at low temperatures (it does not freeze down to approx. -44°C), so it is a reliable choice in cold climates. For your safety, it is odorized: if there is a leak, it is detected by smell. In addition, it burns cleanly (no smoke or soot) and is non-toxic when used correctly.
In short, propane provides power, continuity and security for the day to day. It is available in 11 kg Cepsa propane bottles or propane in bulk.
Bulk propane is stored in its own tank that feeds your home without the need to be near a pipeline. It is a convenient and continuous solution.
With Cepsa you have a tailor-made project: we take care of the study and installation of the tank, and you have the support of Cepsa’s network of commercial agencies for security and continuity all year round.

Autogas and bioautogas are liquefied gases. A mixture of propane and butane, used as a fuel.
They allow you to drive your vehicle for less than the price of gasoline, with good performance in the city and on the highway.
It depends on your driving and mileage, but in general autogas is more fuel efficient and less expensive than gasoline, so you pay less per kilometer.
In the network of Cepsa stations with LPG pumps. You can find your nearest autogas station near you here
Yes, LPG (autogas) vehicles run on dual fuel and allow you to switch between gasoline and autogas by means of a switch on the dashboard. If the LPG tank runs out, the system automatically switches to gasoline, so you continue to drive normally and gain more total autonomy.
The adaptation is done with an approved kit (tank, pipes and control unit) that maintains the original gasoline system. We recommend installing it in an authorized workshop to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
