2. Object and scope of application

This Legal Notice regulates the access and use of the CEPSA website. CEPSA reserves the right to modify the presentation, configuration and content of the website and services as well as the conditions required for access and/or use.

The access and use of the contents and services, after the entry into force of their modifications or changes of the conditions, shall imply acceptance of them. Access and use of the content and services by the users may be subject to certain particular conditions which may, depending on the case, replace, supplement and/or modify this legal notice. In the event of contradiction, the terms of the particular conditions of the general conditions shall prevail.

GASIB is the owner or has the corresponding license to exploit the intellectual and industrial property rights of the Website, including the information, materials, structure, selection, arrangement and presentation of contents, as well as the computer programs used therein.

The use of the Website by the User, including browsing, downloading of content and use of services, does not imply the waiver, assignment, license or transfer of these rights by GASIB or the corresponding owner. The User only has a limited and private right of use, exclusively to access the Website’s services.

It is not permitted to remove, circumvent or modify the copyright notices and any other identifiers of the rights of GASIB or its owners incorporated in the contents, nor any technical protection devices or identification mechanisms.

5. Registration in the private area

Access and navigation in the Private Area of the Website requires prior registration of the User. The User agrees to be assigned a personal and unique password. If the registered User forgets his/her password, he/she may request a new one through the Private Area.

GASIB shall not be liable for situations arising from improper or fraudulent use of the password by a person other than the registered User.

It is forbidden for minors under fourteen (14) years of age to access and browse the Website, and specifically the Private Area, unless they have the prior and express authorization of their parents, guardians or legal guardians, who are responsible for the acts of the minors in their care.

In any case, it shall be presumed that access to the Website by a minor under fourteen (14) years of age has been made with the prior express authorization of his/her parents, guardians or legal guardians. Once the User has registered in the Private Area, he/she may access the services and products that GASIB makes available to him/her. The “e-documents” or “e-invoices” Services allow the User to access information on the issuance of electronic documents for contracts with GASIB. However, in order to stop receiving paper documents, it is necessary for the Registered User to accept the “e-Document Agreement” from this Website.

6. Responsibilities and guarantees

GASIB cannot guarantee the reliability, usefulness, suitability or accuracy of the Services provided or the information provided through the Website.

GASIB declares that it has adopted all necessary measures, within its possibilities and the state of technology, to ensure the operation of the Website and to prevent the existence and transmission of viruses and other harmful components to Users.

However, GASIB does not guarantee and is not responsible for:

  1. The continuity of the contents of the Web Site
  2. The absence of errors in the contents or services
  3. The absence of viruses and/or other harmful components on the Web Site or on the server that provides it;
  4. The invulnerability of the Website and/or the impregnability of the security measures adopted therein;
